Hello. My name is Mark. I've taught EFL and early elementary in Asia for nearly ten years. Though I've greatly enjoyed my time overseas, I'm happy to have returned to Dayton, which is where I grew up.
While living in Asia, I taught both adults and young learners. I feel equally comfortable teaching either group. I enjoy teaching reading comprehension as well as composition and elementary math. I have experience preparing adult students for all sections of the TOEFL test. I also have experience guiding elementary aged students in the improvement of their performances on MAP tests. Additionally, I have several years of experience preparing Kindergarten aged students for English assessments which determine the ability to enter their private elementary school of choice.
As a result of my numerous years of teaching experience, I feel I have an excellent understanding of the teaching process and what it takes to help students reach their goals.
I look forward to meeting with you all!
