I'm an experienced tutor and homeschool teacher who has loved working with students for the past ten years. I enjoy working in youth development with adolescents and teenagers because it affords me the opportunity to watch growth and learning happen right before my eyes! I always looked up to my camp counselors, tutors, and older students when I was growing up, and I look to be the same role model for younger students today. I realize the importance of having a comfortable and fun learning environment, so I make sure that all of my sessions are informal and open, while still being very efficient. Let's learn together.
I tutored students throughout pursuing my high school and college degrees. I have worked with high school students to study prealgebra, algebra, geometry, and calculus. I have experience working with homeschool students in all required high school subjects based on the state's curriculum requirements, so I am very familiar with the wide range of classes available to students these days, as well as the challenges that come with them. I am also currently teaching English online and continuing private ACT/SAT courses for students.
