I recently graduated from the University of South Florida with my degrees in International Studies and Criminology. I have been working with middle school children for the past three years and I really enjoy it. I am very passionate about helping/working with children because I understand that they are our future and that they need help.
I am originally from the Dominican Republic, so Spanish is my first language. It was not until the age of 10 that I was exposed to the English language, which I learned in a short year. Having learned English as a second language, allows me to understand what our students go through as they try to learn the language and allows me to better help them understand. I am very laid back and like to laugh so I try to make my lessons very fun and relatable which makes them easy to understand.
