My name is Nicole, and I graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University with a Spanish degree and a Pre-Medical Concentration. I am a current medical school applicant in hopes of starting in August of 2018! I found in college that I worked best in an environment where I got to guide my peers and help explain difficult concepts. I am very passionate about learning, and I love to get others excited and motivated about their education. I am most confident and passionate about the sciences including Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy, and Physiology, but I am also very familiar with Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry!
I have a year of tutoring experience at the Office of Supplemental Instruction at Georgia State University in which I created lesson plans of fun and exciting review games and activities for Organic Chemistry for up to 45 students. I have experience in large groups and one-on-one, all of which has been vital to my growth as a leader and as a tutor.
I am very proficient in algebra, and I feel confident in my abilities to explain algebraic concepts simply to students who are new to the subject. I took algebra in high school and in college, and I was comfortably able to move on to higher mathematical subjects like pre-calculus and calculus, which are both still algebra-heavy.
I took Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, and Chemistry at my undergraduate university and received all A+s. I was able to serve as a group leader for my peers when reviewing all topics in these courses, and I feel confident in my ability to do the same for students in high school and college!
I am excited to make a difference in the lives of students, and I hope that you can be one of them! Please feel free to contact me to inquire about me or to schedule a lesson.
