Hello! I am a sophomore at the University of Chicago currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in economics and statistics. I scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT, and I am a Distinguished AP Scholar. I am an experienced tutor, and I specialize in mathematics, however I am passionate about learning and teaching in just about any subject. I have been a volunteer tutor for middle school aged students with learning disabilities for 6 years, and I am also particularly well versed in SAT and ACT test preparation. From my experience, there is no such thing as being smart; I firmly believe that any student can excel in their academic pursuits, and I am incredibly motivated to help my clients achieve their highest potential. As a young adult and student myself, I remember and can understand the places where difficulty arises in the learning process, and I can offer my own strategies for overcoming these obstacles. And as a college student, I am able to connect with my clients as a friend, a peer, and a role model. I hope you will consider me as a tutor.
