I am a college student at New College of Florida and will be majoring in Biology with minor in Art. I love spending my weekends volunteering at my local aquarium and drawing.

My passion for tutoring came from a tutor who completely changed how I felt about math and left a lasting impact on my education. This experience gave me a love of learning and the tools I needed to be a successful student. I understand how frustrating and demotivating struggling in school can be, and I want to be able to help students so they can overcome their struggles. My favorite areas to tutor in are the life sciences, reading comprehension, and math.

My tutoring approach involves active discussion and purposeful repetition. Active discussion allows the student to fully understand the problem and the steps to solve it. Purposeful repetition allows the student to tackle the areas they have difficulty with; while, achieving mastery.
