My story is a bit different than most. I went to SUNY at Buffalo and got my Bachelor's in Linguistics and Spanish. In this time, I spent 6 months studying in Madrid, Spain, and another 4 months studying in Moscow, Russia. I am completely obsessed with learning everything I can learn about language. I also love traveling as much and as often as I can.

Nowadays, I live and work in a small city in Hungary as a high school English teacher. I have about a year and a half in teaching experience and love what I am doing. In my classroom, I love to try different approaches to get my students to learn the material. I believe, if the material can be spun in a way that is more fun, then the student will comprehend it more easily and leave the classroom a bit more motivated to continue. I would like these aspects of teaching to transfer into my tutoring here with Varsity Tutors.

With living in Europe, I won't be available for in person tutoring, but I do offer a very unique schedule of open times because of the time difference. Learning a new language can be one of the hardest things in life. But, the decision to do so is probably the best you will ever make.
