Hello, my name is Carlton, and I am a third year medical student looking to become an emergency medicine physician. I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Exercise Science after completing my first two years at Christopher Newport University where I played on their football team. As a collegiate athlete, I have learned a lot about discipline, work ethic, and healthy competition. I have found ways to translate that into my pursuit of becoming a physician. Since then I have attended graduate school, resulting in obtaining my Masters Degree. Prior to matriculating into medical school I worked as a professor teaching Human Anatomy at Virginia Commonwealth University and as a medic at the Richmond Ambulance Authority, where I responded to and treated several medical and traumatic emergencies in the city of Richmond, Virginia. I look forward to meeting you and helping you take the next step in your bright future.
