I am a biomedical engineering student at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I have loved math and science since I was a kid, and have chosen to attend math and technology focused schools for both my high school and college education. Aside from my studies, I have also been playing lacrosse for most of my childhood and enjoy hobbies such as drawing, painting, and traveling.
I began tutoring in early high school, at first only to help many of my younger family members with math homework and science projects. By my second year in high school, however, I also began tutoring some of my fellow classmates in after school programs in the subjects that I performed well in (math, chemistry, biotechnology). In college, with my busy schedule I haven't been able to formally tutor as much; but I still do meet with fellow students in our dorm lounge or student center to go over homework and help them with a course that I did well in.
Overall, whether its quickly helping my younger cousin with a math question they texted me or sitting down and helping my college friend understand a difficult chemistry chapter, I love helping people learn (especially in subjects that I love to learn myself).
