I started tutoring in high school as part of my National Honor Society's chapter. I find working with students incredibly rewarding, especially for the moments where I get to see them experience success in an area where they struggled.
I am currently a junior at the University of Maryland pursuing two degrees in Materials Engineering and Military History. My two majors are very different but contain numerous subjects that I enjoy and allow me study things I'm passionate about. My favorite subjects include math, statics, mechanics of materials, physics, European history, and writing. I especially enjoy teaching statics and materials courses because they have been my favorite courses in college. I am also into history and can talk about it for hours and really enjoy writing about it.
Outside of academics, I enjoy sports, reading, and hanging out with friends.
