I am a high school chemistry teacher that has been teaching/tutoring for 7 years and counting. I began tutoring during my undergraduate studies and those one on one experiences were what fueled my passion for teaching. I am incredibly lucky to have an opportunity to teach at the school that I am at and to have the courses given to me. I currently teach AP, college preparatory, and conceptual chemistry.
My experiences of tutoring started with college level general chemistry I & II. I am confident in my ability to help students understand and apply their knowledge to chemistry at any level from high school to college coursework.
I have a BS in Chemistry. I have been a chemistry tutor/teacher for 7 years and counting. I have a strong understanding of the material and I look to break it down into basics that everyone can understand. Once the basics have been mastered I look to find applications to real world examples.
I hope that I can help you come to better understand chemistry and have success in your classes. I have never had a student work with me and leave disappointed. All of my students see an increase in their class performance and very often earn the top grades they are capable of. Please contact me to schedule as lesson or learn more.
