I am a graduate of the University of Virginia, where I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Government. As a college student, I tutored elementary school students in reading and served as a Big Sister mentor to a middle school student via the Young Women???s Leadership Program. After graduation, I worked on Capitol Hill. I received my Master's degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University, and I currently work in the international development field. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English/Reading, Political Science, and History. I try to adopt an engaged tutoring style, and incorporate fun ways to learn and engage with material such as flashcards and games. I believe that pursuing an education is absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and watching movies.
