How would you help a student get excited/engaged with a subject that they are struggling in?
To help a student get engaged in a subject they are not the strongest in, I would make an example problem that they can more easily relate to their own lives.
What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy is that to promote the most thorough understanding of a subject, you must regularly practice its building blocks or core concepts.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
My first session routine is to build a comfortable dialogue to allow for better communication in the future, as well as cover material obviously.
