About Me

I am passionate about figuring out how to help students find their strengths. I enjoy helping students create goals and self-motivation. I have worked with students of all ages. Most of my experience is with kindergarten and first grade students. Currently, I work with high school students. I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Special Education from Radford University. I tutor special education, reading, writing, phonics, elementary school subjects, and study skills. I teach to student interests and strengths. I like to find fun music, games, and different ways to help students remember the content. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I enjoy riding horses and spending time with my family. I also like going to the beach.
