Physics Tutoring review by Adam in Austin, TX
The student and I completed his class homework assignments from Chapter 8 and a few from Chapter 9. We also looked at a few physics problems from the exam. We're meeting for an extra session later this week, to stay ahead of his class and complete a homework assignment that his professor gave out late.

Physics Tutoring review by Juan in Austin, TX
Today we went over how to calculate the magnitude and direction of an electric field. The student did not seem to have too much difficulty with the concepts but had some trouble with the problems. It seems to just be the wording of the problem so, once I explained to her what they were asking, she had no problem answering the question. We will most likely go over this section again so, she can do well on her exam.

Physics Tutoring review by Maureen in Austin, TX
This week the student and I reviewed the subjects we went over the previous week: magnetism, magnetic field, right-hand rule, AC circuits and, transformers. We worked through some book problems and a worksheet together, making sure he fully understood how to solve each problem, using the appropriate equations. He seemed to be more comfortable with the material this week but, still struggled a bit with identifying the correct equation to use.

Physics Tutoring review by David in Austin, TX
We spent this session going over a mock AP exam. We began by doing multiple choice questions which employed all subjects in mechanics. We then moved on to the free response questions on the same test. The problem we went over was with employing all sorts of torque and angular momentum. It was the quintessential classical mechanics problem. It was a productive session.

Physics Tutoring review by Zachary in Austin, TX
We started on his physics work first. We looked at the relationship between magnetic fields and electrons, especially with respect to the direction of the magnetic field at different point in space. After that, we looked at integrals for a bit, solving a few by looking at the shapes of the areas underneath the lines.
