I am a certified 4-8 Mathematics teacher in the state of Texas. I earned my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2007 and a Bachelors in Arts and Science Spanish in 2010 from Texas A&M Kingsville. I completed my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University-Portland on May 2018. I have taught for the past 9 years the following grades 5th, 7th, and 8th. For the past 2 years, I have been an Instructional Coach for Elementary Mathematics I have tutored several student on my own before joining varsity tutors. I look forwarded with working with your student in Mathematics or Spanish.

My teaching philosophies are to meet the student at the level they are on, to motivate them to believe in themselves, and to use hands-on activities and teaching methods to help them understand mathematics.
