I've always liked helping students since high school. In ninth grade, I would return to my local elementary school to help struggling first grade students outside of the classroom. I then joined the National Honor Society at my high school and would help local students in my community at the library. At my university, where I recently graduated magna cum laude, I spent three semesters tutoring in the Chemistry Tutorial Center and I spent a semester as a teaching assistant for a genetics course.
I love tutoring because I get to use my knowledge to help other students perform well in school. I try not to tutor very formally and adjust my tutoring techniques to each individual student. I also like to provide general study tips to students and provide any academic advice I can. I look forward to helping students be successful in their studies!
