Growing up, I had many tutors form elementary school subjects all the way to ACT tutoring my junior year of high school. Tutoring was not only a means of helping me learn the basics of each subject. Rather, it taught me valuable study strategies and life lessons. Each tutor provided me with their own knowledge of this world and it allowed me to see the true grasp of what it takes to be intellectually inclined. What makes me stand out as a tutor is that I have been in the position of the student. I have set there listening to a tutor, learning what they have to say, and using that information to increase my mental capacity and to become a better person. As a tutor, I not only want to help these students with the problems that they bring to me, but also I want to make a difference in the eyes of each of these students. I want to be a role model amongst these individuals who seek me for guidance.
