I am a senior at the University of Florida. I am a nutrition major hoping that my next steps are medical school. I have tutored students at University of Central Florida, and private tutoring as well. My favorite subjects are Physiology, and Biology. I could sit and talk about the body all day!

I love anything to do with nutrition. I love to create my own twist on recipes making them healthier. I truly am a sports fan, and enjoy going to all the games my school host. I like to be active, and being outside!
What techniques would you use to be sure that a student understands the material?
I would use techniques that would be beneficial to my student by first seeing which way they learn best. If they are a visual learner, like things condensed, auditory learner, or note learner I would choose techniques that pertain to them.
How do you build a student's confidence in a subject?
I think confidence is built when they start knowing the content of the material they struggle with. I would do everything I could to encourage my student to push themselves to learn more, and make sure to let them know when they're doing something right!
How do you evaluate a student's needs?
I would evaluate one of my student's needs by giving them material on the subject they are struggling with, and see where they're at with it. I would also talk to them, and they can normally tell you what is difficult for them.
