I am originally from Berkeley, California, and am currently a sophomore at Middlebury College in Vermont. I plan to major in Education Studies and Sociology and graduate with an Elementary Teaching Credential. I have the most experience teaching Math and English to elementary and middle school students. I have also worked as a peer Math tutor for high school students, and have experience with standardized tests including PSAT, SAT, IB, and AP. My teaching style is student focused; I assist them in reaching an understanding on their own, rather than talking at them or supplying the answer immediately.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I know that every student has incredible potential and the ability to master any subject. The beauty of individual tutoring is that I can tailor each lesson to fit a student's learning style and best promote comprehension and command of any subject.
