Growing up in a Spanish-speaking household, I was able to learn how to translate English and Spanish at a very early age. I would help out family members communicate when they had trouble. I was able to read, write, and translate any text as a little girl. I took Spanish classes throughout my entire school career, and in high school, I took AP Spanish classes in which I scored the highest score possible. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and love helping students learn and understand a new language. I have experience in the real world and in after school tutoring programs helping students excel in their language courses.

In addition to being bilingual, I have always had a desire to help others, which is why I decided to pursue environmental engineering in college. Environmental engineering would give me the tools to help solve some of the world’s greatest problems. I was accepted into the University of Florida where I have been studying engineering and utilizing my math skills every step of the way. I have always had a passion for math and appreciated the great tools it provides. I love helping other people with math because I am able to help them understand and appreciate the subject as well. I am currently a 5th year student and will be graduating at the end of this year.

I have had experience tutoring both kids and adults. I have been a part of after school tutoring programs and have recently been involved with an outreach program where I was teaching 3rd grade kids about engineering. I have also had the opportunity to complete an internship with GE where I was able to modify employee lesson plans and lead them as needed.

I am a very motivated and hard working individual. I will do everything in my power to make sure you succeed and get what you want out of this tutoring program.
