Applying the knowledge learned to your everyday life to get a better understanding of the material and Practice Practice Practice!!!!

Spend some time to get a better understanding of their thought process to figure out how to approach the tutoring lessons.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
By teaching/recommending a few studying methods I've learned/developed throughout my college career. For example, showing them how to organize and prioritize their work and develop a study plan to effectively accomplish such tasks.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
Developing personal goals in their studies to keep them on their toes during hard times.
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
Develop various study plans that best match their personality to help them stay focused and make it easier to learn.
