I am writing to express my interest for a tutoring position within the Varsity Tutors organization. Education is fundamental and all children deserve access to differentiated learning. In order to create life long learners, students need role models and educators who are well-rounded. I plan to use my background in teaching General Education and ESL learners to help mold children into critical and creative thinkers of high moral stature.
My experience working in varied environments have enabled me to develop a range of teaching and leadership skills. I am qualified and have the experience in developing curriculum-aligned lessons that engage multiple intelligences through the integration of technology and hands-on activities. Effective communication with students, colleagues, parents, as well as the community is a qualification that I possess. Most importantly, being both a International and Domestic Educator, I have adapted the use of best global practices within my daily classroom culture to help all learners achieve success.
A great tutor uses their skillset within different learning environments , and help children reach there highest potential . If offered this position, I would be able to take both my former tutoring and classroom experiences and differentiate to help other students excel. I am available 15 hours per week year round. My availability is during the day through the week and anytime on most weekends. I look forward to having the opportunity to discuss my further qualifications in relation to this position.
