I graduated from Willamette University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in International Studies as well as my Master of Business Administration. Throughout college, I tutored elementary and middle school students during the school day and at an after school community literacy program. After finishing school, I completed a year of service with City Year Seattle (an AmeriCorps program). During this year, I worked as a tutor, mentor, and classroom assistant at Concord International Elementary.
I enjoy tutoring in all subjects, but my favorites are elementary math and reading. I love seeing students engage with a story and helping them break a complex problem down into simpler pieces. I am passionate about access to quality education for everyone, which means meeting students where they are and providing them with the tools they need to succeed. In my spare time, I love reading, running, hiking, and spending time with my family and friends.
