About Me

I am at senior at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. I am majoring in Psychology and Special Education. I am a flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple concurrent projects. I am an exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing. I am a computer-literate performer with excellent software proficiency. I am highly organized, dedicated, and committed to professionalism. I am enthusiastic, knowledge-seeking learner, eager to meet challenges and assimilate new concepts. In my previous tutoring experiences, I have found gratitude in watching students grow with my help. I am ultimately satisfied with the fact that I am making a difference in a students education one step at a time by watching them advance eagerly through different assignments and tasks. For example, I worked with a male student at Poughkeepsie High School, in Poughkeepsie, New york for two years. At first I was helping him with simple math as a junior, however next I was helping him craft college essays. He was accepted to many schools with comments regarding his personal essay. This not only made him ecstatic, but also allowed me to realize that I actually have the ability to make large differences in students' lives. I am also knowledgeable in the field of working with kids with Autism disorder.
