I grew up in Leawood, Kansas and attended Blue Valley North High School. During my time there I became very involved as debate captain, DECA president, and the president of the Political Science club. Currently, I attend the University of Kansas and am a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. I am passionate about improving the university for everyone and that is where my involvement in Student Senate comes in. I have an extensive background in math, science and the humanities from both university and high school. In the future, I plan to attend law school or a Master’s program in public policy or international relations.
I discovered I enjoy tutoring while helping my younger brother with his homework and tutoring my friends for the ACT. Empowering people with knowledge is extremely rewarding because they can apply it to succeed. I love learning about everything. There is so much out there to learn about if you pursue it.
