I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, a Master's of Public Administration, and have completed my doctoral studies in public administration. I have done academic work in Peru, the U.S., and Mexico. I have worked as a college instructor for Philosophy, Social Science, and Spanish, and have also worked as Spanish teacher for both high school and middle school students. In addition to that, I have also been a Spanish tutor for high school and college students, as well as for U.S. professionals living overseas.
My favorite subjects to tutor are Spanish and Philosophy. When tutoring, I typically let the student show what they know and, once I identify any gaps in their subject knowledge, I then start providing them with the help they need. When it comes to Spanish, I pay special attention to improving the student's pronunciation and their grasp of key aspects of grammar.
Outside of academia I am interested in politics, science, religion, cultural competence, and Hispanic culture.
