I graduated from Emory University with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Interdisciplinary studies. I also have a master's in education and am working towards another master's in biotechnology at Johns Hopkins University.
I have several years of experience tutoring math and life sciences and was a 7th/8th grade science teacher for two years. I work especially well with 6th-10th grade students in the math and science fields, but I can also be of help in middle/high school English courses. Past students of mine have told me that I'm especially good at making science straight forward, real, and personal for them. Science in the real world is amazing and learning it should feel that way too.
I firmly believe that every student can learn anything they put their mind to. If you are struggling with study skills, meeting deadlines, or keeping track and completing homework assignments, I have many tips to help you succeed. My goal is to not only address your specific needs in one subject, but to help you become the best student you can be. I'm excited to be your tutor!
