From an early age, I was fascinated by science, nature, and language, and now I strive to share this fascination and love of learning with my students. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, a M.A. in Russian Language and Linguistics from The University of Maryland at College Park and a M.A. in Molecular Biotechnology from the George Washington University. During the course of my formal education I served as a Teaching Assistant in a First Year Russian Course and a teaching assistant in a General Biology course. After my graduation from the George Washington University, I worked as a faculty member at the Trinity Washington University for 5 years and taught General Biology, Anatomy and Physiology and Microbiology courses. I am also a certified Medical Technologist. I love working with students one on one and guide them through the material in such a way that they feel comfortable and confident with the scientific concept or reading passage.

Currently, I enjoy tutoring in Washington DC (Arlington area) and spending my free time with my family.
