My educational background is diverse, from an associates degree in liberal arts to a bachelors in music therapy and psychology to a masters in music therapy, with a degree in massage therapy as well. I have taught a wide variety of courses at the college level, and am a published author and editor.
Much of my approach to teaching is connected to my therapy background. I have worked with students of all ages, and enjoy variety in my teaching.

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
I enjoy helping students use their curiosity to help themselves learn!
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
After a brief "getting to know you" introduction, we will get down to finding out how you learn. Then, we'll get into the subject matter based on that.
