For as long as I can recall, I have been told of the importance of education. As a young black female, this message could not have been more relevant for me as I grew up. Now, as an adult, I do my best to ensure that children of all ages and backgrounds understand that an education can take them out of their situations and into their dream lives. However, I remind them that in order to get to that dream life, they have to put in the work.

I love being able to inspire young minds and help them achieve things that they never expected.
