I am a biomedical scientist and creative science communicator. Possessing a distinctive skill set and perspective, I have had a unique blend of experiences ranging from science policy at the White House, to research at Harvard Medical School, to secondary education in Los Angeles, to acting in television and film. Collectively, these experiences have fostered a passion for the academic and professional empowerment of young people as well as the innovative use of media to educate and inspire people about science and science careers. In addition to being a leader, I have excellent communication and organizational skills, and am highly creative. I am a very adaptable person with a fervent commitment to utilizing my diverse talents and abilities to catalyze social change.
