I love Math and have enjoyed teaching it to students who need help. I understand that Math can be complicated, and it is not something you get right away. I believe with practice and skill one can be better able to understand it. I know this because I also grew up not liking Math but ironically ended up teaching it. I believe you need to be patient and understand the student's strengths and weakness in order to effectively teach Math to students. Relating Math to real life examples can make it more interesting and fun for students. I believe my tutoring/teaching experience and desire in teaching math would be beneficial for the student. I love one on one tutoring and enjoy the pleasure of making a difference in the education of my students.

Q & A
What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe you should let the students lead the way when it comes to their learning and not set your own learning style onto the student. I like to help guide the students and have them get a hands-on approach to their learning. It's more student-centered and my role is to support, encourage, and give them the confidence they need to become better in the subject.
