About Me

I received my PhD in Chemistry from Montana State University and my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics from Bob Jones University. I have been privately tutoring in Mathematics and Science since high school. During graduate school, I tutored in Chemistry and Math for American Indian Research Opportunities. I have experience tutoring in all of the Sciences, including Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Math. I am passionate about imparting my love of Math and Science to the students. My goal is that the student will gain a thorough understanding of the subject and find enjoyment in learning it well. I believe that a good foundation in Science is an essential part of the education of a well-rounded member of society. Science and Math help develop critical thinking and give students the tools they need to make wise decisions in life. During my spare time, I enjoy reading, engineering, computer programing, board games, hiking, and the occasional ball game.
