I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. degree in Molecular Biology and Microbiology. This summer, I will matriculate into a physician assistant graduate program at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. I am also a nationally certified EMT. I recently finished my 27-month contract as a United States Peace Corps Education Volunteer in Malawi. I taught Math, Physics, and Chemistry with a focus on critical thinking and study skills in an underserved rural secondary school. I especially enjoyed teaching math because it was a language my students and I shared, and I believe they enjoyed it as well. Often times my students would come to me and ask for extra practice problems. My experience in rural Malawi taught me the importance of QUALITY education and that is why I want to continue exchanging ideas as a tutor. During my free time, I enjoy running and cycling. I am also like watching and reading science fiction and listening to music.
