I am a third year doctoral student, working towards my Doctor of Physical Therapy at NOVA Southeastern University. I am an alumni of University of South Florida, where I received a bachelor's in Health Sciences, and a minor in Public Health.
I believe a good tutor provides more than just academic support. A tutor has the unique opportunity to enter a student's life at what can be a stressful or embarrassing point, and re-establish a sense of pride and achievement in their work. Tutoring can improve self-esteem and make a difference in the way your student sees their future.
It is my passion to help students grow and achieve their goals. As a physical therapist, that means educating my patients about their health and wellness, and helping them move toward a healthy lifestyle. In my volunteer experience, it means mentoring high school students with the goal of developing life skills that benefit them in the future. Tutoring gives me another way to invest in the next generation, to help them realize their potential.
I have experience in tutoring, with specialties in math and science. My vigorous coursework in both my undergraduate and graduate studies have prepared me for tutoring in a wide range of subjects. I am most qualified to tutor in math, science, and psychology. My favorite subjects to tutor are Algebra and Anatomy/Physiology.
