I am a student at Seattle University, working towards a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. I have extensive experience tutoring high school students in mathematics and helping high school students to write effectively, and have taught basic equine science to groups of middle and high school students. I tutor in a broad range of subjects, but I am most passionate about sharing the elegance of Algebra with any attentive student, and I enjoy helping students to relate to even the most abstract elements of History. I firmly believe that strong foundational knowledge and analytical skills are essential to education, and allow students to approach complex academic and personal challenges with confidence and efficiency. In my spare time, I enjoy reading fiction that expands my perspectives, cooking, and horseback riding, along with drinking copious amounts of tea and listening to musical theatre soundtracks.
