I have a Masters in Bioengineering and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester. My greatest tutoring experience came as a Teacher's Aide on Long Island where I worked one-on-one with students who needed a little extra attention in certain subject areas. I am comfortable teaching a number of subjects at a number of different levels, but my absolute favorite subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Math and Biomedical Engineering. The basic sciences are always the most interesting because they govern the behavior of the world around us and it still amazes me how a few simple equations can apply to so many situations, including things we experience every day. My preferred teaching style involves a little bit of give and take. I think I excel at giving students new ways to think about certain problems which may give them a better understanding of the material. I don't feel like it has been a productive session unless I come away having learned something as well. In my spare time, I am an avid sports fan and a seasoned fantasy sports player. I also enjoy reading and spending time at the beach in the summer.
