In May of 2013, I graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics. While achieving my degree, I had the extraordinary opportunity to work in the Astronomy department as a student instructional assistant. This experience not only exposed me to a variety of learning styles, but it reinforced my respect for the tremendous responsibility that we as educators have to students. My teaching philosophy is based on flexibility and compassion; traits that I feel are fundamental for a good tutor. Education is a self-motivated endeavor - it not only improves ones quality of life, it literally rewires the way your brain views our world and the results are remarkable. And though I tutor several subjects, I believe Physics and Astronomy produce the greatest results. Therefore, they're my favorite. I currently work for an educational software company that creates virtual classrooms for students who wish to educate themselves in an online environment. In my free time, I play piano, study music theory and write songs for independent video game developers. And books.......I love books!
