I attended Whitworth University and Columbia University where I received two Bachelor's degrees in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering respectively. I am currently finishing up my Masters degree in Electrical Engineering at Columbia. Throughout my academic career, I have tutored students in various subjects such as Algebra 1, Calculus 1, Introduction to Electrical Engineering, and Electronic Circuits. I am currently a graduate teaching assistant and provide laboratory instruction for undergraduate electrical engineering courses. My diverse educational background enables me to tutor various subjects ranging from math ( Algebra , Calculus, Differential Equations) to Engineering (Circuit Analysis, Microelectronic Circuits, classical control systems ). I believe that in order for students to be successful in any subject, the material must be taught in a way that makes most sense to them. This is what I strive to do for all the students I tutor.
Besides academics, I am the band director and bassist for the Columbia University Gospel Choir. I play bass in the Columbia University Afro Cuban and Brazilian jazz ensembles. I also play in a rock band and perform in the New York city area.
