I am a graduate of Nova Southeastern University earning a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science in 2011.
I enjoy teaching a wide array of subjects, however Biology, Science, Geography, Writing, and Spanish are my strongest subjects. I am originally from Bogota, Colombia but moved to Florida during my early teens, which allowed me to master both languages. I am able to teach all levels of Spanish as well as AP Spanish Language and Literature.
I like to get to know my students to understand which style of teaching they are the most receptive to. I believe that learning should not feel like a chore and my goal is to turn problem areas into subjects that the students feel comfortable with and even learn to love.
In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, snorkeling, reading, and CrossFit. I also love traveling and I do it as often as possible. I hope to travel through South East Asia in the near future!
