I recently graduated from Frostburg State University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics. For six summers I taught science, technology, engineering and math to underserved children around the country as a mentor and a site director for the Summer Engineering Experience for Kids(SEEK) program. I was also a Frostburg State University tutor for two and a half years; tutoring students in a variety of math and physics courses. While I continue to tutor this wide array of courses, I most enjoy tutoring algebra, calculus I and physics I. I am a proponent of giving students a deeper understanding by relating unfamiliar topics with mastered concepts. I ensure that my students understand that math and science are increasingly important subjects to understand in this age of computers and technology based commerce. I am a huge sports fan (mainly football) and enjoy playing rugby. I am hooked on 'The Walking Dead' and also enjoy volunteering in the community.
