I am a graduate of The University of Central Florida, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a focus on Deaf Education. Since graduation, I have become a Florida Certified Teacher and currently work for the Palm Beach County School District with Exceptional Student Education. I have participated in after-school educational programs and interned as a camp counselor at Camp Endeavor, a non-profit educational summer camp for DHH children ages 7-17 in Dundee, FL. In my experience I have educated students with intellectual, emotional-behavioral, and specific learning disabilities; I address each of their needs through goals and interventions I create, modify and implement based upon individual assessment. I feel it's important to put myself in my student's shoes to create a strong relationship that has a powerful effect on their progress. I enjoy helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests, College Essays, Critical Reading, Writing skills, and Public Speaking. I am positive, passionate and dedicated to helping each of my students achieve their fullest potential. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, dancing, outdoor activities and the game of basketball.
