My interest is to utilize my knowledge in General Chemistry and Math to tutor others who are having difficulty with these subjects. I am currently attending the University of Maryland at Baltimore County for Math and Chemical Engineering B.S. degrees. I have been tutoring for over two years and absolutely love it!
My teaching style depends on the student I am teaching. I am comfortable with any type of student and all learning styles and tailor my tutoring sessions based on each student.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I teach how a self willing student wants to be taught and guided. Physical application of learning objectives is a huge motivational factor, which I constantly use.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
It depends. Some students are not outspoken about what they are struggling with, so I start with a simple question, "How can I help you to achieve what you want to achieve?" In other instances, students just start asking questions about a very specific topic, and I dive right in to clear any confusion or misconceptions they have.
