About Me

I attended the University of California Los Angeles and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I then attended Pacific Graduate School of Psychology and recently received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. While I was in graduate school, I worked with undergraduate students as a writing and communications coach, helping them with their school projects, papers, and presentations. I also became somewhat of a mentor to these students and helped them with their resumes for jobs and their applications for graduate school. Also, during my experience as a Psychology graduate student, I have worked with many children, adolescents, and adults with carrying degrees of learning styles and learning abilities. Over time I have learned multiple skills, tips, and techniques to help students who may have trouble remembering things, organizing, and paying attention. My passion is to meet each student where they are at and try to mold my tutoring style to what they need. To do this, I employ verbal, visual, and kinesthetic techniques and enjoy facilitating the process in which students learn how they learn best. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, walking my dog, dancing, going to the gym, cooking new recipes, and learning new do-it-yourself projects for my home.
