I received a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Northwestern University. In my undergraduate career I explored a variety of subjects but finally decided upon Spanish after studying in Seville, Spain for a year and absolutely loving it! In Tucson, AZ I grew up speaking some Spanish at home and worked to regain my language skills throughout my schooling. I was able to help solidify my language skills through my foreign studies and immersion experience abroad. Through teaching and volunteering in the U.S. and in Spain, I have tutored both peers and younger students in Language Arts and Spanish since 2007, from Kindergarten to college level. I am invested in my students' success and have developed strong study skills with which to advise each and every student individually. I am increasingly aware of how invaluable one's education is; helping enrich the education of my students makes the job that much more fulfilling. In my spare time I enjoy dancing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

What is your teaching philosophy?
The learning method that works best for the individual student is the best option. However, learning alternative study methods is the most beneficial study tool a student can gain.
