I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Agnes Scott College. I studied Romance Languages with an emphasis in Spanish, Italian and French. I participated in Georgia State University's study abroad program in Perugia, Italy, where I studied in depth the culture and history as well as the language. I have worked primarily with high school and college students in both on-level and advanced language courses, and I have also had the opportunity to work with individuals for whom English is a second language. I enjoy teaching Grammar and Mechanics along with Composition and Writing, and I strongly believe in reading and listening to music to reinforce excellent use of any language. During my college career, I volunteered at a local shelter for women and children, and spent evenings helping kids of all ages with their homework and organizing games and activities. Some of my favorite pastimes include reading, swimming, traveling and doing volunteer work for various pet rescues.
