About Me

I graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. I have privately coached students online and created over 40 hours worth of educational and entertaining videos. I teach a variety of subjects at a high school level and lower, but I am most comfortable with math and sciences. My favorite subject is Statistics, as it has several practical uses that I apply in my life nearly every day. I start by getting to know a student and observing how their mind works. I constantly ask questions to make sure their train of thought is correct as giving a direct shortcut to the right answer does not help them to deeply understand the material and prepare themselves for any type of problem. Every time I am told I have changed the way someone thinks and helped their understanding it is a personal victory for me. When I am not teaching, I am working on my own side projects or playing tactical games.
