I have recently obtained a Master of Science in Physiology & Biophysics from Georgetown University. This is in addition to my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience (with a pre-medical focus) and minor in Sociocultural Anthropology, both of which were earned at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor (Class of 2009). Throughout all of this, I have accumulated a great amount of research experience within the realm of molecular biology and data-driven neuroscience. Currently, I am tackling the arduous process of applying to medical school.
I've tutored in various modes: as a tutor in math, reading, and writing for young inner-city children, as an SAT instructor, and as an educational volunteer at St. Elizabeths Hospital. I can work with and relate to a wide spectrum of backgrounds.
Whenever possible, I am either playing the piano, bicycling across the city, volunteering at a couple different hospitals, shadowing physicians, or chilling out with good friends. I feel that having a balanced lifestyle allows me to be easy-going, and as a result, I have the patience and solicitude to be an effective tutor.
