I am a graduate of San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and minors in Public Health and Counseling. Ever since middle school and my first dissection of a squid, I have enjoyed science! It's great to learn about a field of study where everyday is a new adventure of discovery.
I have had experience tutoring incoming freshman at SDSU in Biology/Life Science and Chemistry. In my entry level Chemistry course, I received the highest score in my lab group for two semesters.
I also had the opportunity to study abroad in Granada, Spain. I took four years of high school Spanish as well as an Intermediate course in college before I immersed myself in the language and culture of Espaa! I spent four months taking all of my courses in Spanish as well as living with a host family.
Among my friends I am considered a great listener and counselor. I have a younger sister in the 7th grade and can understand the demands of today's youth in academics.
In my free time, I love going to coffee shops to read and people watch and keeping active in a non-conventional way. I live near Mission Bay and love going to the park to ride around on my Scooter with friends!
